I went from Shock to Acceptance pretty quickly. I guess there were some minutes between these when I legitimately thought the end of the fight was just a dream sequence or some shit like that, so probably a bit of Denial as well.

Now I'm on the "laugh at people who are upset over it" stage.

This is what I could never understand. Logic would dictate that with a franchise like Pokemon it would be insultingly easy to make a good anime. Every new season is worse than the previous. How is that even possible? It's fucking pokemon. 90% of the work has already been done by the games all you have to do is turn it into a cartoon. Shit seriously pisses me off. I understand the audience aspect but there plenty of kid's shows that are watchable and borderline good. I would even agree with someone that said the anime was never good. With such a low starting point how is it possible to sink even lower?

I don't think Origins is great but it just shows how little effort it takes to make a pokemon anime that is not a pain to watch.
