I liked how he had a wide variety of interests, from fishing to detective work to science. He could be the straight man to Ash or Iris, serious and analytical like he is when he evaluates during battles and comes up with strategies, or he could be silly, such as when he's really into one of his hobbies, how he acts so skeptical about the paranormal, or how he has such a fear of Purrloin.

They're all pretty eh. But at least Clemont can fight worth a damn and brought Bonnie along. Brock's shtick got old after a few seasons, his best episodes are when he finally returned to his gym to deal with his family. It floors me how we spend so much time with Cilan and Tracey and they're both the blandest cardboard people ever, but that's this entire anime for you.
