He isn't going to be a Pokemon Master just from beating ONE League Tournament. He has SO many more achievements to unlock in order to even become a Master, just beating a League isn't enough, it's a single step in a very VERY long journey.

It's seeming like Ash will win the Kalos League but that doesn't mean they'll drop him as the protagonist when he still has MUCH more to do on his journey.

Ash's Pikachu is the mascot for the ENTIRE pokemon franchise that fact alone will mean that he will never stop being a 10 year old who will never stop growing a harem he will never get to enjoy. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Not to mention that said Arceus bothered to show up from its out-of-time dimension to repay Ash the favor and bail his ass out of a deadly situation in a later movie.

Winning the League gives you the right to enter that region's Champion League: several tournaments where winners of the League Tournament can challenge the regional Elite Four and the Champion. If someone wins against an E4, they can take their seat in the League. Same applies to the Champion.

It's also implied that an even bigger tournament exists, one where the Regional Champions all across the world challenge each other (pretty much the same as the PWT in the games).

Nobody knows what a Pokémon Master is, since the official sources are vague and ambiguous on purpose. We don't even know if it has to do with winning tournaments, catching pokémon or just being an excellent trainer.

So even if Ash wins the Kalos League and somehow defeats the E4, Diantha and every other Champion in the World, there's absolutely no guarantee that this would give him the title of Pokémon Master.
