I never saw the appeal of going back to Kanto. How do people not realize that gen 2/4 Kanto removed a lot of things i.e Safari Zone, the Pokemon Tower in lavender town, shorter cave routes like Mt. Moon, Cinnabar Island was completely removed. I'm not saying that those were the best features of Gen 1, but removing content instead of adding in more is doing it wrong.
