how do i play roms with homebrew without it lagging like shit?

I never had any problems with emulation on homebrew aside from a few times it skipped a frame or slowed down.

Gameyop runs at 99.9% speed on my New 3ds.

Uses Retroarch for GBA games, it runs faster than mGBA.

You just browse the 3ds SD card yourself and find the game file. Just make a new folder named "gameboy" and put your stuff there.
