I'd argue the smaller roster doesn't seem like an issue at points because of how many moves and how different all the characters play. Unlike games like Smash 4 where you can pretty much learn any character in like 5 minutes, it really does take a long time to learn these characters' intricacies inside and out.

Is there a reason to pick Weavile back up? It's one of my favorite Pokemon, but I just can't stand how it plays. I prefer Garchomp more because its positively crazy. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I beg to differ mate, Weavile has trouble getting in and getting to deal damage is pretty difficult due to Weavile's unique projectile. If I'm wrong, I'd love for someone to prove me wrong if I'm just retarded.
