So what's up with Wishiwashi?
Does its ability only activate when it's around water? Doesn't make sense for it to suddenly activate in the middle of a desert.
Kinda wish it was just a regular evolution.

I think its supposed to be crazy powerful while its active, but also made to be stoppable and not instant ban to Ubers.
>>27759878
My theory is that rather than calling it's allies, it just creates a bunch of clones of itself. Like the Shadow Clone thing in Naruto.
>>27759878
>Kinda wish it was just a regular evolution.
so much this
It was my fav until I found ou that its just a form
I'll give it a try tho I'm sceptical
>>27759878
What's up with fish pokémon? Doesn't make sense for them to be on land.
I wish there were no fish pokémon.

Theory debunked by official Pokémon website
>>27759944
have you read the official description?
>>27759944
Sorry mate but that theory has been disproven. From the official website:
>"When it’s in danger, Wishiwashi’s glistening eyes catch the light and shine out, sending an SOS signal to its allies!"
>>27759878
It activates when wishiwashi is at a certain level.
And from what i see from the trailers, school form is broken, so better not make him a normal evoltion.
>>27759974
If there were no fish Pokémon.
Pokémon would be boring.
Game mechanics
>>27759878
One it reaches a certain level, it'll automatically turn into School form in battle, without wasting turns or anything, so in a way it's kind of an evolution.
The only bad thing is that it reverts back once it gets to 50% HP. This alone kills it unfortunately.
>>27759878
>>27759965
thats why they called it the "wish"iwashi
>>27759999
thank you upside down satan
>>27759878
It activates when wishiwashi is at a certain level.
>>27759981
So, what happens if every lone Wishiwashi gets captured? Can none of them enter school form anymore? Can one Wishiwashi force other trainers' Wishiwashis to disobey their trainer and form the school?
>>27759996
so basically defeatist but with a new form?
lame.
>>27759999
nice
>>27759978
>>27759977
>>27759981
>implying the pokedex is ever correct
>implying professors aren't incompetent bums who were too busy fucking your mom to verify where the fish come from
>>27760058
It's a little justified because based the damage we've seen it do, its stats look like they're going to be Slaking tier.
>>27759999
I hate you.
>>27759999
Quads confirm, that is indeed why they called it Wishiwashi.
>>27759993
I was making fun of OP. Things not making complete sense don't disqualify them from happening in these games.
>>27760080
Pokedex is always right.
>>27760054
ummm yes? If an entire species of fish is captured from the ocean, they can no longer form schools.
>>27759999
>>27759999
>Wishiwashi
>Wishiwashim
>Wish I was him
DEEPEST FUCKING LORE
>>27760498
wishiwashi, the pokemon that wanted an evolution so bad it faked one
>>27760498
>>27760803
shit, now I'm definitely getting a wishiwashi
>>27759878
Well it doesn't make sense for fish to float outside of water either now does it. They're no rules in pokemon
