HA Extreme Speed shiny Dratini I hatched before I gave up on trying to competitively breed (holy shit was that boring). Hyper Training is gonna be a godsend.

Honestly, if you're going to bother shiny breeding, you might as well load it up with egg moves. It'll take like 5-10 extra minutes and be potentially more useful in the future.

Same goes for IV Breeding, honestly. By the time you get a shiny you'll probably have buckets of 5/6 IV whatevers that you can at least use as trading fodder, and then you don't have to spend extra time hyper training them in SM.

I use foreign Pokemon in the same egg group since my friend has that game in another language. Legal 6IV foreign dittos will be common place in Gen 7 though.
