Quagsire because hes my absolute favourite.
Elgyem because i have a huge boner for space and aliens and deoxys is out of my reach. i wouldnt be evolving because everyone needs a shouldermon.
Archeops and Aurorus, because i have even bigger boner for fossils and dinosaurs. especially raptors and long necked dinos.
Goodra because i had a snail as a pet when i was younger.
And probably Weavile because im more of a night person and i live in a cold climate.

Everyone imagines themselves as some badass pokemon trainer, but in the show, those appear to be in the minority. Most people just live their lives with pokemon around.

So, I'd have a pet dog -- Growlithe -- who I would take camping and he could start campfires with ember. And I would always debate whether to go invest in a Firestone, but then I'd remember Growlithe is a cute puppy and a Firestone is a fucking car payment.

I'd like to have these guys with me at first, but of course I would eventually try to get them evolved by hard training.
I'd make them strong, not only have them strong.

I'd be happy with chatot as shouldermon, escavalier and vespiquen as my companions

Dragonite or Salamence because it's powerful and I can fly on that shit around the world.
Lapras so I can ride it on the seas when my dragon needs a rest.
Arcanine to keep my team and I warm and because I like dogs.
Blissey because they make excellent assistants.
Rotom because it can possess objects which provides great utility.
A female Gardevoire as a useful powerhouse and as a show/contest mon.

My bro would probably be Porygon2 if I could obtain one. Porygons are apparently quite common in places like labs so I guess it would be feasible. We'd shitpost together and he'd navigate the Internet to find me good porn. Also definitely viable for battle, so there's that.

Then I'd get a Ninjask. I don't think Nincadas would be very rare. Ninjask is hard to train but I'm sure it would be rewarding in the end. Not to mention I get a free Shedinja.

Then I guess Gliscor would be my third bro.

Mons like Eevee, Dratini, Spiritomb or Rotom would probably be too rare for someone like me but I like them as well.

So looking through a list of pokemon I compiled a list of pokemon I think I could reasonably obtain.

1. Grumpig - I live in a farming community, but I also adore pigs so I think it could work out well.
2. Slowking - Could be a wonderful research partner. Don't know how I would find one though.
3. Omastar - I collect ammonites in real life, so all I would have to do is find a place that could revive it

Some pokemon I could find on my travels as a Social/Cultural Anthropologist:
1. Sigilyph - found in old ruins and buildings, could be used as a flyer and protector
2. Medicham - found atop of mountains, in isolated communities, could be a great pokemon to have as a travelling partner

And that's about it I think.
