I like the idea of a pokéball mushroom. In order to avoid being eaten by other wild pokémon it has taken the shape of something only humans use. It's a different idea from the one behind Voltorb and can stand out on its own.

The only problem I have with Klinklang is it's being clearly copypasted, but I really like it too. I love its animation and I like how it's introduced in the game by Juniper studies.
For being a weird mechanical monster is more interesting than Magnemite being a mix of random things.

I'm with you. Every gen has shit designs, and some of it will come down to taste (I'm not a fan of Pokemon that are too human, such as Mr. Mime), but 3 and 4 really seem to shit the bed, 4 especially. Overall I liked 5, but it still had ice cream cones and the horribly bad trash bag. Okay concepts, but I didn't like the execution. Gen 6 having very few new Pokemon worked in it's favor I think, there were a couple I didn't care for but overall it didn't feel like there were any filler pokemon.
