Icetails is a hard counter to every 600BST pseudo-legendary released thus far. Bullet Punch will wreck her shit, but is it really worth dropping her for that reason alone? I can see smogon banning her to ubers because of "muh healthy meta" if every team is forced to run Scizor due to her threat.

If it's hidden ability is snow warming, why should I use ice beam over blizzard, which can't miss on hail because it ignores avoid and accuracy?

You must have some defensive mons in your team, and Ice does a pretty shitty job at being defensive while Water does it perfectly. They take on Fire and Steel moves and shit all over Fire and Rock types.

The reason most weather is good is because it benefits other types besides its own. Rain benefits Electric and Flying moves, plus helping Pokemon that are weak to Fire. Sunlight helps Fire and Grass Pokemon while Sand helps Rock, Steel and Ground types. Hail just helps fucking Ice, and running mono-Ice sucks pretty bad.

100 base speed is about average these days.

As far as Fairy-types go, Whimsicott has 116 speed, with Dedenne coming in at 101. M-Gard only has 100 speed as well, but generally relies on it's huge damage to make up for it rolling with a Timid nature.

Ice types really only have Cryogonal and Frosslass as Special Attackers, with a 105 and 110 speed, respectively. Weavile coming in with 125 base speed is ridiculous, but it's so goddamn frail it's insulting.

Cut Icetales some slack and just call it as it is; a dragon killer that only really kills non-Jolly/Timid sets.
