What's your Trevenant's ability?
If it's Natural Cure you can switch out.
If it's Harvest you might want to equip it with a Lum Berry/Aspear Berry next time.
If it's Frisk, well... you shouldn't be using Frisk.

If it crashed, the only things to do would be to turn off the system and turn it back on or reset the game.

No clue as to why it would crash, maybe the cartridge got slightly knocked out of place?

Try battling again, if it works, great! If it crashes, then delete the base.
