Snorlax is fat because it goes on massive eating binges and then hibernates regularly. It's been shown that Snorlax still has a lot of muscle underneath that though, as he can also burn that energy in short bursts for intense battling ability.

I'm not sure you could snap a snorlax off of those natural biorhythms. Forcing it to not sleep and instead burn that energy fighting could be an option, but that would just result in it needing to eat even more food due to being more active. Cutting fat from its diet could possibly mess up its metabolism severely.

If you did this, you might end up with a slightly leaner or more muscular snorlax, but it wouldn't be a machoke style bodybuilder. It's be one of those extreme-weight lifters that are shaped like barrels.

Mariusz Pudzianowski is probably the leanest world's strongest man competitor. He's completely ripped which is unusual for a competitor of his mass, but they exist.

That was my point. It'd be a strong as balls snorlax, and it's probably how snorlaxes sort of are by default, but it wouldn't get lean from doing that.

You're basically trying to say that you could simply get a grizzly bear lean by forcing it to do cardio during the winter instead of hibernating. I really don't think that would work. There's a certain point where your body can't get rid of excess fat, and that's different for different animals.

There will be few and far between. As far as I remember Gen 3 added Wynaut and that was it. Gen 5 was a dead contribution and Gen 6 only used Megas because it was the new concept. I'm sure there will be the occasional Baby and standard evolution and Mega and new regional form of Pokemon as time passes.

I meant that Gen 3 had Wynaut as the sole connection to a prior Gen - Azurill was another actually. Gen 4 focused on new evolutions, 5 on itself, and 6 on old gen Megas. There's no reason for a standard evo or Baby not to pop up, because Megas were just a focus for the Gen to introduce them. Regional Forms are a new thing to consider their Gen. Heck, they could give Megas and a Regional, a Regional to a Pokemon with a Mega, Evo and a regional, Baby and a regional, etc.

I agreed with every point in your post until this line. Gen 3 was shit, but gen 5 was far worse. Unova was literally a fucking circle with zero exploration. And the story WOULD have been good, if they didn't throw the entire moral dilemma of Pokemon capturing out the window at the end for the cliche "OH SHIT GHETSIS IS EVIL! IT WAS A RUSE ALL ALONG AND NOBODY CARES ANYMORE ABOUT THE ORIGINAL LEGITIMATE POINT!". They made it a point to challenge themselves and then dropped the fucking ball.

Also Gen 5 had the worst new Pokemon. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of Unova pokes, but I hate more Unova pokes than any other gen. I get that they introduced a shit load so that makes it more prone to this, but there's like 20-30 in the whole gen I actually like and the rest can fucking die for all I care. That seems like a problem to me.
