I love aerial battles in the anime. Even to this day I loved Swellow Vs. Winona's Shiny Swellow from AG. Iwane animated that battle and it still holds up to this day.

I shipped Poke only when Kanto/Orange was airing, mainly because there was no major alternative at the time.

I shipped Advance during AG, and then only accepted Contestshipping as AG was ending.

I did like Pearl for a while in DP, but after seeing how Advanceshipping ended up I didn't want to make the same mistake twice.

Amour I really only got into after XY59 and her outfit change. If the writers didn't promote it so much I wouldn't have gotten into it.

Yes, Pikachu plowing through Alain's team made him realize that skill matters more than megas and autism. His loss to Ash made him realize that power isn't the solution to every problem.

During Talonflame vs Unfezant part of the trailer, we see that Hawlucha and Noivern are greyed out, but Pikachu is still active. Next to Unfezant, we see that one of Alain's pokemon is KO'd, and it's likely Weavile. Chances are that Tyranitar loses to Pikachu because it only appears to battle Pikachu at the start in the preview. Alain switches into Charizard against Pikachu, so that might mean that Metagross loses to Pikachu. Or Metagross is about to lose, so Alain switches into Zard. What the hell will the match order be?

Also, you have to take into account that time skips usually happen between episodes, so whichever number of days that happens to be, it isn't an accurate counter of how many days have actually passed in the anime.

correction, before watching the second to the last episode of XY, since Olympia mentions a lot of Act II-III there

basically Act I-III can be watched any time after XY1 but before the second to the last episode. Then after the last XY episode, watch Act IV then XYZ1 because they come in a package.

DP and XY are very continuity heavy. I wish all the seasons were like that.
