Your suggestion is dumb. Ice is already a great type offensively, it's defensively that it needs help with. Remove its Rock weakness, that's all.

This is a good suggestion because, not to be the type to look too into type effectiveness, but rock is often frozen over - by ice. In nature, rock doesn't just bust out when it gets frozen over, it has to melt. Ice is essentially a strongly bonded basic element that has metal-like properties that can form anywhere cold enough

Hail needs to give a serious buff. The minimum effort solution would be to make it so hail negates all of ice weaknesses. On paper that sounds OP as shit but it really isn't, the ice types that are good now do not have snow warning and succeed either because of their movepool or high speed and sacrificing a slot while also requiring a turn to set up won't break shit like Weavile or Mamoswine.

This also makes tanky ice types like avalugg genuinely useful but also makes it so you have to sacrifice a slot in order to get any use out of them. Abomasnow would now be OU if not Uber but it's not like he doesn't have a bunch of counters thanks to also being part grass.
