Weezing would actually be completely viable if it learned Recover. It's just that gamefreak hates giving pokemon recover. Half the reasons there are so many shit poison types and ghost types is that game freak thinks pain split is a viable substitute to recover

Weezing is a decent physically defensive pivot. WoW, Pain Split, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Flamethrower, and Sludge Bomb all have their uses.
