I'd actually like to see Alder back again, he was a cool character but I personally thought they didn't utilise him well enough in bw

My pipe dream is that by the time BW remakes roll around, the tech will be advanced enough that updating both games and fitting them into one will be easy. You play through BW, save your game and then begin BW2 with all the data carrying over, like going back to Kanto in GS but better.

But it'll never happen.

Benga and Emma are the two I'm most interested in seeing return, also Silver/Gen 2 Rival.

They all have potential to be champions

mfw we get a new Unova with fully 3d graphics, adult Roxie, Iris, Benga, older N, Cheren & Bianca, and the original dragon as the mascot. Megas for fifth gen starters that make them what people want (Grass/Dragon mega Serp, Fire/Dark Emboar, Water/Fightimg Samurott,) Unovan forms for a bunch of mons, etc.

It's pretty obvious they don't like Alder for some reason. His role in the games was pretty poor for a champion, probably the least impactful one for a while and in the anime he was laughable, Ash beat him because he fell asleep and the only pokemon he owns is Bouffalant.
