/v/, Is what is your opinion of Rydon in The Pokemon games?

I hatched one in my Emerald and leveled it up to the level of my other 5 Starters (50-53 rn) and it's REALLY good against Physical Pokemon, but sucks ass to Sp. Attack Pokemon. Is there another better Pokemon i should replace it with?

Starters are
Lv. 52 Swampert
Lv. 50 Gyarados
Lv. 53 Ninetales
Lv. 52 Salamence
Lv. 51 Rydon
Lv. 50 Breloom

Can't. My friend is also playing Emerald and he has claimed that Pokemon as his #1, So i can't grab it (Or at least i don't want to)

I do plan on replacing Rydon with a Shiny Metagross after i beat the Elite Four + Champ, But until then, Is there anything better then Rydon that can still be a Physical Power House but can still take Sp. Attacks?
