It seems like it changes your stats specifically for that Pokémon, kind of like Stance Change. The Pokémon website that it becomes less defensive but better at attacking and faster.

Yeah, I guess that's what would happen. Although it would get a raise in speed. It would be easier to deal with than standard Aegislash though, that's for sure.
