Hey /vp/ how do you sort your Pokemon folder?
I use to just throw all mine together in a big ol 'vp' folder but after a couple years it's become really bloated and unweildy with somewhere around 25,000 images.
I started making folders for individual pokemon (or trainers) I had a lot of images of, but then I wasn't sure if I mix lewds and clean images, if I should put a copy of an image in two different folders for two different pokemon, if maybe I should sort them by gen or by type to prevent me from ending up with 1000ish folders.
I'm pretty proud of my archive's sheer size, but finding that one specific image I need has become an unweildy nightmare.I'm NEET so the time it takes to sort 25k images isn't the problem, it's just finding the most efficient method

why dont you upload them to some booru based thing where you can tag each image with characters/pokemon that are in it, or what sort of image it is, etc

I was thinking if I could get it well sorted I'd set up some kinda drop box, so then people could grab what they wanted without needing to download the mass of gay Morty on Silver porn just to get the 2gb of non-lewd Sylveon images... or vice versa for some people. I just archive, I don't judge.

Pokemon World
Which is decided into Official art, Fanart, Comparisons, Lore, Regions Trainers
Then there's /VP/
Divided into Leaks, screenshot, collages and saved threads
Then there's the comics folder, And one for Pokegen/Smogon/etc

I keep all /vp/ stuff in a folder. One subfolder for each pokemon with more than 6 pics to them, One subfolder keeping screencaps and general /vp/ stuff I like to keep track of, my "meme" folder, and a folder for general pokemon stuff, followed by a lot of images of pokemon I'm too lazy to sort out. I don't have that many images, mine range from 600-700, so I don't have to worry about digging through my own stuff too much. When it begins getting grating, I'll probably subdivide the pokemon folders depending on what the image is like: cute, cool, funny, etc.I also hid amongst all of the folders my lewds folder, I made damn sure to sneak it where nobody would look, but I never cared to organize that one, its a complete mess
