To be honest a Z move wouldn't even boost him that much since he's already off the scale. If he does get a Z move it'll probably nerf him in some other way.

It's like when people were shitting about Mega Garchomp and how it was going to destroy the meta. But it turned out to be useless since Garchomp is already perfectly balanced and adding more attack did pretty much nothing.

It's like getting hit by a train going 140 mph instead of a train going at 120 mph, same result either way.

My uncle works at Gamefreak and he said there will be more megas. They're essentially like having new pokemon and dropping them after one generation is a dumb idea. He also said the reason why no megas are revealed yet is because people care more about newer features than what mons will mega-evolve.

I have no idea why Rayquaza has always been my favorite legendary. Maybe because I have such fond memories of playing Emerald, who knows
