So, since the Alola season will likely be more about exploration and completing the trials rather than getting to the Pokemon League, do you think Ash has a higher chance of winning the league this season?
It has been confirmed already that Ash will win the league and Serena will win the Ash.
Don't doubt it.

I feel the fact that SM doesn't use gym leaders greatly spikes Ash's chances of winning.
Remember, its already been said that winning a league is only one step in becoming a master. He'll win the kalos league, and then head to Alola for the next step.

Yes.
Didn't the leaker say something about the story revolving around sort of setting up a league?
Considering Ash is already confirmed to travel with Mallow, it could definitely just be Diantha or somebody recommending him to set up the league in Alola after he wins the league, roping in Mallow to be the first leader(she travels with him to help convince the others), while he takes on the island trials.

>Serena will win the Ash
It's fun to dream isn't it? too bad it's not going to happen

His victory is all but confirmed now.
The lack of Gyms and a Pokémon League in Kalos is probably the reason the writers were finally allowed to let him win the Kalos League in the first place, since it was his last chance (unless Gyms come back in Gen 8, but it's still too soon to think about that).
>Serena will win the Ash
Keep dreaming, friend. Serenashit will be rightfully replaced by the qt brown grass girl.
Well he already won the Orange League before so...

It definitely doesn't hurt.

Meant to quote this delusional fellow >>27474119

As someone who thought it'd never happen, I am 99% certain he will win.

>The lack of Gyms and a Pokémon League in Kalos
You mean Alola
