Do Pokemon have levels in the anime? For instance, would Pikachu

I think they count level as how strong they are (I know that is pretty obvious). Basically if some smug fuck says his route 1 trash bird is better than yours it is. Also ash's pikachu gets deleveld every new region because there is no story if he can blow through everything, also he would have at least beat a leauge by this point if he could. I am supprised that he even brought back some of his old pokemon (I think it was B/W but I could be wrong because Idon't watch the anime).

You figured out the secret. Ash has been using pokegen/PKHex to delevel his pikachu so it has access to new gen moves.

In one episode of the first season ,the one with the school kid who befriends an eevee and gets bullied, he is spewing a bunch of bs about what "level" eevee learns moves. Thats if u want actual proof in the anime, but i personally think its bs just to tie the games closer with the anime.
