Genwunner in particularly has a specific connotation of someone who has played Gen 1, may or may not have played other gens (but usually not), and considers every other generation an abortion to the franchise. Basically the opposite of what OP said about themselves.

The other names can imply that they started playing with those games as an insult (implying that they're younger), but for the most part they just have to do with favoritism, yeah.
