I like the ability from a flavour perspective, the "I don't care what you are, I WILL poison you" kind of thing, but it seems kind of pointless when I actually think about it. Steel and Poison are the only types affected, and Steel is meaningless given Fire STAB. What existing Pokemon can you see it battling where the ability makes a significant difference? Also, that other new ability where the user can only be affected by sleep- which takes priority here?

I actually wonder if Salandit will actually evolve. They specifically said on the Pokemon website that Salandit is a weak Pokemon, but why mention that if it's going to evolve anyway?

It's either going to have a really strong evolution as a contrast to it's base form or it's going to be a 1 stage shitmon with a gimmick ability.

Because not being able to poison steel/poison types is such a common problem, right? I think it would be a lot more powerful if, say, it evolves and the evo has an upgraded version of its ability, letting it burn fire types and poison steel/poison types.
