Well, they did kind of try to do that with Fast Match competitions, which kind of blew up in their face anyway when people were resorting to shufflemove since there was no Mega Start for Fug. But Fast Match was an incredibly well thought out attempt of phasing out shufflemove and providing a non-bullshit alternative at the same time.

It got nerfed, basically full items but you might not need the C-1 anymore. I've been using Mega Blaziken, SS Ho-Oh (lack Delphox), Reshiram, and usually Heatran.

Well, if you're trying to clear the mission cards, you're better off doing an all-item run on the next competition.

That being said, I just got a 135-hit combo for >90k points on the third try, using M-Gyarados-S, Hoopa-U and Hydreigon.

finished with whopping 6 seconds and got a nice 11% catch rate that went onto 60% with Super Catch and one great ball did it then.

Genesect is next.... Now on 3ds it was E Z P Z due to better controls and power creep, but oh boy, itemless on mobile will be fun

I never used the ATK in order for the stage to load faster. Once I did choose all items with Zoroark and Ylvetal I managed to get 60k points on my 6th or 7th try.

Nontheless I was never able to get my combo over 100.

Fun Fact: I managed to get 58140 points two times in a row

To catch, def make sure you get Jirachi (is it available again?) then Palkia.

If you already have he other Lando then the Po5 version is useless, I never use both in a stage.

I already have Risk Taker Lando (without any psb) and wondered if getting Regular Lando is worth it.... but I'd rather not now.
Jirachi might be good for a few later stages as it helps Mawile to evolve way faster and its rare of course. So to ensure a good catch rate all items are necessary (maybe not on the first day, but for sure on the second or last day).

But what about Palkia? Barrier Bash + is a pretty decent ability. And since I started mobile only a few days ago... my other decent water mons are Milotic, Blastoise and thats it actually
