How do you organize your PC boxes? I need some god damn inspiration here.

I place them in function of their habitat, so when I'm asking myself "Here's Venusaur ?" I just go check the forest and tropical box, it's working pretty well ^^
Name every box with every typing. If a pokemon has 2 types for instance: Fire and Flying, you put the pokemon in the fire type box
After I beat the game, I keep the eggs for various breeding projects separate and keep one box specifically for BR pokemon.
First box is pokemon that I might need to switch into my party. Last box is for the legendary pokemon or whatever I don't use but don't want to lose. I never have more pokemon than that.

I name boxes by Pokedex order. You'll only have a few boxes left so you barely have to bother organizing those.

This is the way I organize the boxes:
Box 1: Grass, Poison and Bug-types (Forest background)
Box 2: Normal, Fighting and Fairy-types (Pokémon Center, City backgrounds)
Box 3: Flying and Dragon-types (Sky background)
Box 4: Electric and Steel-types (Machine background)
Box 5: Ground and Rock-types (Desert and Crag background)
Box 6: Water-types (Beach, River and Seafloor backgrounds)
Box 7: Psychic, Ghost and Dark-types (Simple background)
Box 8: Fire-types (Volcano background)
Box 9: Ice-types (Snow background)
Party boxes and HM Slaves are in the last box, I usually name it Pokébase.
Legendaries Box are next to the Pokébase Box.
If one of the 9 boxes is filled I move all the Pokémon to the next box to make space for a new box next to the filled one.
If a Pokemon has two types I take priority on its first type. Because Flying is universally a second type I box every Flying-types on the Flying/Dragon box no matter its first type.

Box 6: 151-180
Box 7: 181-210
Box 8: 211-240
Box 9: 241-270
Box 10: 271 -300
Box 11: 301-330
Box 12: 331-360
Box 13: 361-390
Box 14: 391-420
Box 15: 421-450
Box 16: 451-480
Box 17: 481-510
Box 18: 511-540
Box 19: 541-570
Box 20: 571-600
Box 21: 601-630
Box 22: 631-660
Box 23: 661-690
Box 24: 691-720
Box 25: 721 (This Box holds nothing but shinies right now, FUCK YOU VOLCANION)
Box 26: Masuda (Holds all my foreign pokemon)
Box 27: Dream (Holds hidden ability pokemon)
Box 28: Dream2
Box 29: Team (Holds my FireRed, HeartGold, Emerald, Platinum and White Team)
Box 30: Team2 (Holds my White2 team and some of my utility mons)
Box 31: Event (Holds any legendaries and event pokemon unless it's needed for the living dex)
I usually just use my Battle Box if I want to store my Kalos team but I'll probably put them in Team2 when I export these to Alola.

Competitive Pokemon at the back, box of Dittos somewhere before them, shinies and other useful mons such as HM users and whatever else I could need just before them and then wherever they get left for everything else.

These guys get it, everyone else is doing it wrong.
>>27442422
This. I also have boxes for other things, like Common Use, Shinies, and Breeding.
>>27442361
order caught
main type
egg group
>>27442361
I don't separate by type, but use.
I have boxes like:
In Game
Legendaries
Wonder Trade
EV Train
And then the other boxes with Dex fillers are unnamed

I like it when I see people see the with rage from not having Volcanion. Good, let the hat flow through you. (I already have a complete living dex that I bred, all stages of breedables, etc etc. I do have Volcanion from that one JP event too.)

a box for HM slaves, a box for pokemon i actually use, and all the rest filled with random pokemon.
