I never really used their line until a Nuzlocke of X I played.

I fell in love with Spewpa's animations and how cute and huggable it looked. (I would kill for a plush of it)

It is really nothing against Vivillon, I like it and all the cool designs it can have, I just like Spewpa more

Wartortle. I actually really fucking hate Blastoise's design, it had nothing even remotely related to Wartortle's really interesting developments it got in evolution, and has CONSTANTLY been given hilariously bad sprites and models apart from Yellow. You might as well have made it two-stage if you were just going to discard the middle, god damn.

At least with Eviolite it's a tougher defensive nut than Blastoise will ever be, even in mega, which is a decent consolation I guess since offensive water types should be found somewhere else anyway.

I have a Frillish I caught in OR that I just keep as a cute Frillish and slap him on my team whenever I load up the game to wander around or hunt for Hidden Abilities.
