Hi, can someone answer me this question about Basic and Special Energy in PKMN TCG.
If I play Basic Energy can I play a Special Energy on the Same turn? (I swear I saw the computer do this in the online version)
Nope. You might have saw a max elixir or alpha growth.

ah okay, thanks for that. Do you know much about the game because I need so much help..
What cards should I be going for? Im trying to do Water / Fairy. I think Glaceon looks fairly strong. But I'm not sure what else to go for. I also heard about Tasting Slurpuff and it looks decent enough, a lot of card draw. But over all I have no idea how play properly. What I should be doing etc.

If you're making a water deck, I suggest putting in Regice to counter pokemon EX. If you wanna go low budget, I use Huntail (Primal Clash), Whishcash Alpha (Primal Clash), and Articuno (Roaring Skies). Articuno allows you to get 3 water energies per turn, which you can place on Whishcash 2 at a time, which will add 40 dmg to Huntail's attack. If you play fairy, you need Aromatisse (XY), although it is leaving standard. Xerneas (XY/Steam Seige) works well too, same reasons as Articuno.

Choose 2-3 Pokemon, max them out if they're important, build your deck around those. Add like 6-14 energies (should be closer to 6-8 and then ~4 special energies if you need them). Then fill the rest of your deck with trainer cards. Items can be used as many times per turn as you get them, and they're incredible advantage via things like Max Elixir, Mega Turbo, Puzzle of Time, Switch/Escape Rope, Ultra Ball, or things like that. You have 1 energy per turn and 5 bench slots, but can only evolve once per turn. So basically 99% of the time you don't immediately play a Pokemon or an energy, it's dead weight. Brick hands are almost always full of energy or full of Pokemon.
