Most of us use it to farm items, which we wouldn't have access to otherwise.
Rural places and small towns have one or two pokestops for miles. You can't play the game without items, simple as that.

There's also the overlap that makes places with no stops to lack pokemon variety as well. An army of Rattata will get you nowhere.

There's also jerks that love the "glory" of cheating, I can't justify those though.

You have to set up an authorization file and the configuration settings, then you're reasonably good to go.

Sniping feels really cheap, but nobody really cares once you get a good Dragonite to bash gyms with.

Well, sniping was great for Dratinis and Magikarps specifically.
You just need to manage farming vs sniping, and maybe adjust the item levels in the config so that you have as many balls as possible, without automatically tossing them.

The idea is to walk around and explore. You're rewarded for actively walking around and finding Pokemon.

The problem is that there are two main flaws. One is that the game is blatantly biased towards more populated areas, and the other is that the game is non-functional half the time.

Regardless, in their eyes neither of these things justify cheating the system and reaping rewards you haven't earned by going out and finding them.

I'm a mile down the road in 109F index heat from the ONLY Pokestop and gym within 10 miles so all I can do really is walk around to hatch eggs and catch a Pidgey or Rattata every hour or so.

I only spoof to the city about 40 minutes away which has 5-7 Pokestops per block because of all their stupid novelty statues. They even have fire hydrants as Pokestops because they paint them.

Have you tried haxton bot? Ive read it gets 200-500k exp/hour but i dont think it can get that much

I've been trying to get this game to run in Nox, but it runs like shit and tells me to enable VT. I went into my BIOS, turned it on, but Nox still thinks it's disabled. I did a bit of googling and apparently Avast turns it off by default. It seems there USED to be an option in Avast's troubleshooting to enable hardware-assisted virtualization, but it's not there. Is that an option on pro users get or something?

I got to level 21 and walked 63km total so far. I've been playing since tuesday.
I live in a small town and I've caught 67 different pokemon so far. I have Aerodactyl, Dragonair (evolved), Electabuzz, Kadabra (evolved), and a bunch of other uncommon to rare pokemon.
