Recent updates allow homebrew to be installed most 3ds firmware including the most recent one.

Download the 3ds homebrew starter kit and the newest menuhax, then do browserhax, then install menuhax. I think you need to download the save manager but by the time you get to the end you'll probably have found some guides that tell you where to find some.
