Does it count if I catch most of them on emulators with fast forward and transfer them over to XY with PKHeX?

I'm missing Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect (and Volcanion). Although they're distributing all of them this year so I'll have a completed Pokedex by the end of this year (aside from the Sun/Moon event Pokemon).

I'm sure I caught them all just not evolved them or eventmons.

I always thought it was lame as fuck that all these event legendaries mean that nobody can ever catch them all. They just get handed to you.

All the Pokemon that can't actually be CAUGHT should be retconned.

I think all legendaries in a generation should have an in-game location and if Game Freak wants it to be event exclusive just relese the item to get to it like they did with some legendaries before. I find stuff like the Shaymin event pretty neat even if they are short.
