I disliked Plasma cause the grunts didn't even seem to share the same viewpoints as their leaders. They seem to just be regular crooks and even beat pokemon given the opportunity. It's made worse by the fact that unlike groups like Aqua. Magma and Galactic, there doesn't seem to be any real hierarchy to the team. You got generic grunts, then you got N and Ghetsis. That's it.
I didn't even notice the 'illuminati' connections until someone told me about them long after I beat the game.

Most of them seem more concerned about the strength of their Pokemon and taking you down. Very few of them share any of their own thoughts on the matter. A lot of them seem to just get a thrill out of stealing other's pokemon, not actually liberating them.
