Mawile should lose its fairy type since its based on a japanese yokai (monster) and to add salt, we have another yokai based pkm, who is froslass. Now what type was froslass (the snow woman) again? Giving it a ghost or dark type would fit much better, I'd even take it as a pure steel type

With your pics OP I always thought an ability that slightly boosted moves, so for instance Noctowl would be one that boosted psychic moves, instead of a new type. LIke "Old Wisdom"

Boost abilities would only relate to types the pokemon wasn't.
