I liked Mimikyu from the start, only started liking Bewear after all the fanart and the official reveal with the 3D model.

I was pissed about it for like...30 minutes. Then I grew to love it. Honestly, the only thing I actually disliked about it was that it was mimicking another Pokemon rather than just drawing some original cute design on the bag. Still kinda salty about that, but it's whatever now.

But with an interesting ability and my two absolute favorite types, it'll probably be on my team.

This, idc about its typing, they could have done this concept with a made up Pokemon, maybe utilized the substitute doll, anything other than pikachu. We now essentially have two pikachu clones. Unless this thing comes out from its cloth, and I doubt it will, I hate it - but I think people who are acting like its the best thing ever are just contrarians or eat up the BS backstory excusing the laziness too willingly
