Want to fight? Combat system is broken, over simplified, and just an overall mess. Super effective moves only do 1.2x, Not effective is only reduced by .8x, type immunities were removed, and special moves are useless.

You just want to fill the pokedex? Have fun with the 3 step bug which hasn't been fixed in almost a week. Also, there's no point in exploring when it's 100x more efficient to sit downtown at some cafe with a million pokestops. Fuck this game.

How to fix gyms.

I meant removing the team aspect from gyms. There's way more fun in meeting and battling strangers than having autsitic turf wars. And depending on how much you win your team will be number 1 for the day. There could maybe even be an individual leaderboard that lasts a week or month.

I'm at level 9 and have 20 Pokemon sitting ready to evolve. Roughly how many should I have before I use my egg?

Been playing for a week now, and got to level 20 today. Leveling will take ages for me now, The game is still fun, but it's starting to get a bit boring. High CP Pokes keep breaking free from my Poke Balls, which results in me running out of balls. And then there's some Pokemon that just aren't available anywhere near you. Anyone with me? Just catch every Pidgey you see. You don't need to evolve only Pidgey, though. You can use you other evos too, bonus if they're new to the dex.

It takes about 30 seconds to evolve, so 60 mons for a half hour (actually less since it takes time to find and click). If you were to only use Pidgey, you'd have to catch 185. Realistically though, you'll have a bunch of other mons to evolve so you won't need nearly that many Pidgey.

Is anybody else having insane issues with location detection? I'm using a shitty budget phone (LG Optimus F60), but usually the GPS workS fine on Maps etc.
Basically whenever I'm walking around, when I do anything like use a PokeSpot or catch something, my avatar freezes and stops following me. Then my guy starts running in different directions and then I end up stuck in random buildings far away from where I actually am.
The only way to combat this is by restarting my phone, clearing my GPS cache or uninstalling the app.
