No way whatsoever they're dropping them, and it's unlikely they wouldn't have any new ones. All the evidence points to megas being a marketing success.

I like Megas, I just wish they weren't so over/under-designed. So many of them are either "it gets a flower on its head" or "super saiyan god 4x power mode".

This desu, Mega gardevoir and mega blastoise are decent megas though, thaing the basic design and adding just enough to be different while not going over the top.
and I do like mega Sableeye.
