PokemonGoAnywhere is by far the most sophisticated walking app anywhere for jailbroken iPhones only (made by the guy who ported DeSMuME to iOS). Tap in the application to walk anywhere at customisable speed, a home button to go back to where you came from, an off button to turn off the hack and walk you back to your normal place, a patrol mode to auto hatch egg bot and all inside the app.

Works great with the python scanner and a notifier to automatically get alerts, locationfaker on ios8&9 and Masterball patch to make the app load.

I don't own an android device but with Bluestacks or Nox or whatever you could probably write a bot in Autohotkey to automatically spoof you places and do shit.

Also sounds dumb as a fuck, but someone has already made a bot which automatically plays the game for you. Like everything.

But emulating 3DS games is waaaaayyy more fun when they iron out the minor bugs from ORAS and you can do a hardmode run it will be much better. And PokemonShowdown is also more fun for me than PoGO.

You have your own reward timer, which resets every 20/21 hours. It's at the top right corner of this screen, and will start counting down as soon as you place a Pokemon in a gym. Even if that specific Pokemon gets taken out, the timer will still count down so as long as you have any Pokemon in a gym by the time it reaches 0, you'll be able to get your 10 coins and 500 dust.

Sometimes when I encounter a pokemon the game freeze completely, as will the whole system. The screen gets garbled up and puts out a loud screechy static sound.

This has only happened to me while im in the park by the river, a high traffic area with 4 gyms 2 pokestops and a high wild pokemon spawn rate.

Has anybody else run into this problem? any way to fix it?

My wonky GPS makes me walk all over the place within 50-100 meter radius while not going too fast so managed to fill 2km walk with just keeping the app on for 30 minutes or so.

I wish there was more worth to evolved Pokemon, in reference to catchi them in the wild. I feel that they should give 6 candies instead of 3, and maybe even 9 candies for evolutions that are the third in their line. And also have evolved forms give 2 candies per transfer instead of 1

Dratini fountains may be as common as all the others but it's probably the only one people take note of.

I know that it's good to keep strong Pokemon with you so you can take down gyms, but wouldn't it be good to leave strong Pokemon to defend your gyms as well? I live in the suburbs and I see gyms retain their color for days at a time. Lapras, Snorlax, and Vaporeon are usually the top Pokemon holding them. Any other good ones to leave and defend a gym? I love my Flareon and Pigeot but it looks like they are not that strong at all.

Gym pokemon attack slow and auto cast their big abilities, therefore you need ones with high HP, CP and fast attacks.
Water gun and zen Butthead are fast as fuck, vaporeon, snorlax and lapras all have high HP.

Golem is also a good poke defense machine, cleffable would be as well if it ever came with a non shit finisher.

Last thread I posted looking for something to turn off my screen during play because battery saver mode doens't work on my phone. GPS Keeper (and alikes) + my phone's own screen turn off didn't work, so the next best thing seem sto be the app Go Extender. It uses the proximity sensor to display a black screen while your phone's against something, like your pocket. You'll still have to watch out for your screen brightness, sound, etc that can drain batteries faster, but at least you're not displaying the game's screen constantly.

I wouldn't say that necessarily, unless you mean that they just spawn in intervals based on hours. Those Dratini always spawn at the same time relative to the hour, but they certainly don't spawn hourly. Plus, it seems many spawns I've been following swap what Pokemon they'll spawn (for example, I'm staring at a pair of directly overlapping Bulbasaur/Doduo spawns at the moment).

2 questions

1. Does the rusting leaves on the map mean ANYTHING? Like, if I walk there will I encounter a pokémon? Or are they purely aesthetic?

2. When I park my ass on a pokespot and place a lure, I get like 1 encounter every 3-4 minute. Is this normal or can I speed up the encounter rate?

It's the algorithms Niantic uses to generate spawn points. They're based on cell phone and (potentially) GPS activity. Places with more activity have more spawns. Check around the entrances to stores, bus stops, and any other places people like to check their phones.
