It's just a shame they got introduced in the generation that gave their type combination a 4x weakness to a new and popular type.

Pangoro being fat turned me off of the line. It's really not what I wanted from a Bancho mon, and I really was hyped for Pancham too.

It's weird since I feel the same way as I love the bancho character archetype but didn't feel Pangoro really appealed to me. Maybe this is why. Bancho are typically pretty big and built like a brick house, but it's more a square or rectangular kind of bulk, rather than rounded like Pangoro. Maybe that's why I don't care for it.

They fell into obscurity because they suck

It's not really obscure so much as 'introduced in the wrong generation due to fairies and general introduction of megas that overshadow it completely'. I bet you anything the two panda mons, Pangoro and Bewear, are basically two sides of the same coin.

A lot of mons don't get the coverage or attention they need to really stick out, but it's not really anything we can fix.

Not lying when I say that Pangoro is my favorite Pokémon. Fell in love with him immediately and used him on my play through of X and used him every chance I got. Amazing design. Just everything about him is 10/10.

They did a poll, and it turned out to be the least liked starter of all time. I've been watching the anime and they completely go out of there way to make the entire line look like a bunch of assholes.
