It's exactly what it should be. It's for Pokemon that you're attached to or that you can't breed better like a legendary or caught shiny, or else to polish off the last few points of a nearly-perfect breeding project.

You can theoretically keep failing forever because your odds don't improve over consecutive failures. There is a high chance that breeding a 6IV will take several days, even if you use all the ways to speed up the process and make no mistakes, just due to bad luck.
Of course this includes the time spent getting a 6IV Ditto. I said from scratch.
I want you to flip a coin, a regular fair coin with two different sides, until it falls heads 100 times in a row. No cheating! If it falls tails even once, you have to start all over. Can you say with certainty that you WILL succeed in two hours?

This feature is just for legends/event mon and your team you played through the game with, unless they have an easy way to get level 100.

Breeding will still be easier, probly.

I like the idea of breeding a supreme aryan race of pokemon, and killing off the genetically inferior but I think this will be a lot more convinient and lower the barrier of entry for competitive pokemon.
