It's a tradition to keep the electric rodents' names intact. Save for Emonga, this has always been a thing. Mimikyu keeping its name is a nice nod to that tradition.

Japanese stuff is actually piss easy to pronounce once you know even the bare basics as to what sounds they use. The vowel sounds don't change and every vowel and the consonants before it form a syllable.

Mimikyu is easy, just say Me Me Q which is close enough to Mimic You. It's a good name.

Togedemaru is something I'd probably change but it's not that hard to say.
