>Ash and co. hurry and confront Giovanni, who, alongside many movie and show villains, laugh at him, for having barely any Pokemon with him.

>JJ agree they're going to go back to their unicycle gang, where they had purpose.
>Oak tells ash another land of new Pokemon has been found, and if he wants they can go when he's ready.

Ash gets sent to prison for insider trading. His cell mate cuts him in his sleep and the guards don't discover the body until the next morning. By the time they get him to the hospital, blood loss is too severe and he passes. The only one to go to his funeral is his moms Mr.mime

Mr .mime puts on the hat and takes pikachu and travels to alola to challege the gyms there. He becomes the new main character of the anime.

Last episode of season, mr.mime eats at burger king but the food falls on floor. He eats it anyway, even though floor looks dirty. Then there is ~20 min of uninterrupted footage of him throwing up blood and then he dies. Credits roll as "ain't no holla back girl" plays
