All pokestop locations are adjacent to a path/road, can be accessed from pretty far away, must be submitted from an Ingress user with enough players to make it an active spot, and only gives a small amount of exp/items.

Why would anyone go to this building unless it had a bunch of pokestops in it which would then not make sense for there not to be a bunch of traffic anyways that a landlord would not be able to keep track of.

Based on what I've observed from today's outing let me tell you this.

In order to preform a curve ball you have to take the ball and continuously spin it around with your finger before launching to thee side. If your finger even slightly moves backwards or towards the side when regularly throwing a pokeball, it very well might be recognized as a curve ball leading to confusion and frustration.

As a person with easily sweaty hands,I notice any form of vapor on your phone screen might fuck with touch recognition leading to a bunch of curve balls. Wipe your screen often if you think it's necessary before throwing a ball.

That's not how it works. Pokemon constantly spawn and every player is essentially in their own instance. For example, if a growlithe spawns, a high level player will see one with a high CP, and a low level player can go to the same spot and catch a low CP one, even if multiple players have already caught it.

I think I had the most absolutely authentic and normal (NORMIE for you Instinctfags) Pokemon Go experience you can ever have today. No one can top this.

Yes, but the values are different. STAB is 1.25 instead of 1.5, type advantages are 1.25 instead of 2 and disadvantages are 0.8 instead of 0.5. Immunities were removed (probably because you can't have coverage with only two moves) and replaced by disadvantages.

This means a couple interesting things, like STAB being enough to compensate a Not-very-effective move.

I just installed it 15 minutes ago. Looks like I'm able to sit inside and catch pokes because I live on a pond. So I chose charmander (like I did back in 98), oddish (cause red version), pidgey (cause first pokemon I ever caught in 98), then a shit caterpie even though it's blue version shit.

So now what? Do you just collect? Can you battle yet? Do you just level them up with rare candies? Why do some people collect several of the same pokemon? Can you allocate rare candies of duplicate pokes towards one poke?

You know what? I bet you they will NEVER create a trade feature. It would destroy the game. Maybe if you had to be in proximity and there was a trade limit.

I have a Mud Shot Golem that isn't amazing by any means, only 969 CP as a level 22 trainer, but my area's biome is almost entirely grass/water/electric/fire with literally no ground/rock in sight and I happened to run into him on vacation, plus I have a decent amount of free Geodude candy to work with.

Should I spend the Stardust on him, or not bother? He's a unique type to the area but I'm not sure if that makes it worth the resources.
