Once I had a dream where I saw an internal trailer for pokemon fusion in which it was just one pokemons color scheme is altered to match anothers on your team and it can use on of their moves - some special pokemon and all alola pokemon got features from the other though. Everyone hated the new feature instantly. (I thought it was cool though)

Sometimes I look back on it and it would have been perfect to implement fusion in B2W2 - since it was 2 years later and the region itself was changed they could've added more pokemon through fusion. DNA splicer was already there.

Pokemon already have numerous split-evolutions, gender-specific evolutions, different forms, mega evolutions, evolutions based on stats and happiness, holy shit, why do you want them to fuse? Actually let me rephrase: why do you think they SHOULD fuse? The whole appeal of Pokemon is that after so many years there are so many different species and more being released every couple years. When I was a kid Mewtwo climbed to the top of everybody's "favorite Pokemon" list on the sheer virtue of how bad-ass he looked. Since then they've released four more iterations of him, with needless, stupid redesigns. You and the people at Gamefreak behind these mechanics are the reason that these games are rapidly becoming too convoluted.
