In PokeJapan (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Sevii), pokecenters and marts are separated. Only west pokecenters (Unova, Alola, Kalos) have incorporated marts

There's gift shops in most hospitals here in the united states. It's so you can pick up Get Well Soon gifts for people you're visiting. A lot of them sell small toiletry items for family members or visitors who are staying overnight with people there.

I actually worked in one when I was in college to earn some extra money, it's half heartwarming and heartbreaking to talk with the people who come in there.

The new Amie has an icon that looks like a bean, so it's obviously the new thing you feed them, but the new Amie also no longer has it's minigames. How do we get the food then? Since we're talking about the size of the Pokemon Center I just want to point something out to those that say Alola will be small. Look at the size of the protagonist compared to the entrance of the Pokemon Center and then compare this size to the scale of the region itself. Alola is fucking huge.
