but seriously, desmume does have a speed up button, TAB for me and I think it's the default one, + there's a dynamic recompiler option to speed it up even further. Even my shitty toaster manages to run stuff at around 200% speed with desmume.

my platinum team atm, just got out of mt coronet near snowpoint, looking to catch a swinub which i'll immediately be able to turn into a mamoswine which should be pretty strong. togekiss was a pain to get since my luck with digging underground to find shiny stones sucks so i had to get the one in iron island, also trained that gyarados up from a magikarp from like lvl 5 or something, team took a while to put together
