Yeah, both Hooker Fish and Lennie wound up looking much better in their actual models than the art we were initially presented with.

I hated Gen 6 starters when the games came out but they really grew on me. Not thanks to the ingame models though, holy fuck Delphox's model is awful ingame and looks nothing like official illustrations.

i can't remember how i felt about other gens except 2, i can still remember being in high school in the early 00s when magazines started showcasing the new pokemon of gold/silver, and I was just utterly underwhelmed

this gen however, I've loved nearly every new pokemon so far
