I'd rather fix a lot of pokemon:
All Poison Attacks get +10/+20 base power.
Elemental Punches now have 85 power.
Elemental Fangs now have 75 power.
"Elemental Tails" are introduced. They have 60 power but lower the enemy's defense 1 stage.
Hidden Power now has 80 power, but only 5 PP.

Ice is already FANTASTIC offensively. It's supposed to be, because it's water's pet type.
Ice needs defensive buffs so that ice types stop sucking ass and water stops being ice+1

If we just gave it resists to bug, water and ground and got rid of its retarded rock weakness, then it would be fine.

That's a pretty good balance for a specially defensive type. It still gets fucking raped and OHKOd by any and all physical attackers, but now specially defensive ice types like Cryogonal and Aurorus can actually take hits from special attackers.

BOOM. Ice=Balanced.

There is no excuse for Flare Blitz to be the only physical fire move. There is no excuse for fucking Wild Charge to be the only physical electric move. There is no excuse for Brave Bird to be the only flying move.

Just remove Ice's weakness to Rock and remove Rock's weakness to Ground and resistant to itself. Rock is the one that needs its weaknesses removed the most because Rock-types are almost always defensive. Compared to Ice, which is usually offensive, unless paired with a bulkier type.
