I finally got the fucking shiny charm. Whats the best way to find shiny pokemon?
Medusa Method

masuda method senpai
works like a charm, no pun intended
you'll be getting shinies in a couple hundred eggs if you aren't horribly unlucky

Yep. I've gotten two from breeding for Livingdex + regular breeding, not even hunting.
if you're looking for a fast shiny do hoarde hunting

not if you're me and can't get a shiny with MM within even 1500 eggs. every time. and it's slow as hell.
i recommend hordes or dexNav, personally.

And that's with shiny charm on?
Damn that's some incredibly shitty luck, I got four shinies of the same mon in less than 900 eggs because I was autistically trying to get a shiny female starter

fastest is fishing, then pokeradar, then hordespam, then friend safari, masuda is nearly last
>>27169880
yep.
I did once get a shiny Turtwig in one egg which I was breeding for my living dex but it doesn't quite feel the same if it's not something I was trying to get.

I'd argue Masuda is the most viable if you want good IVs and the right nature and whatnot (Though Friend Safari can also work decently but you have to bet on Synchronize and your random 3 IVs being good ones)
If you don't care about that stuff and just want a shiny though fishing or hordes are way faster and easier
Not Masuda Method if you're horribly impatient and particular about stats like me. Why they don't make an altered coloured egg to distinguish shiny from non-shiny is beyond me. Fuck hatch cycles.
Fishing is good. Just be attentive.
Hordes are reasonable at times (I found a shiny Zigzagoon in a horde without even actively trying/was in the middle of EV training).
I have shitty luck with Dexnav, but otherwise most people use that in ORAS.
