I'm a competitive distance runner. Like good enough that I can pick up some cash on the weekends doing road races with prize money. My training partner just blabs about his times and workouts and the nuances of training theory whenever he finds out someone else is a runner, then talks shit about them to me when they leave for just running for fun and not training seriously.
